Firebird Conf 2024 Conference
June 6, 2024 The next Firebird Conf 2024 brought together DBMS and application software developers, administrators and other specialists involved in database development and support. The venue was the Radisson Blu Olimpiyskiy Hotel in Moscow.
The conference featured presentations from Firebird developers and DBMS experts. News and development plans for Firebird, migration features from MS SQL Server and much more were highlighted. Practical workshops and individual consultations with developers were held.
Among the speakers were IT industry experts, contributors, and industry software developers. Our programmers also contributed to this event by talking about drivers, frameworks and access components for Firbird.
Horse owner's Personal Account
June 5, 2024 Horse owner's Personal Account. This is a solution for working in an Internet environment using up-to-date information from the institute of horse breeding. The account office is fully integrated into the database of this organization and allows users to minimize manual entry, quickly prepare statements, send them to the institute, print them.
As the name suggests, the users of the new system are directly horse farms, both organizations and individuals. After registering with VNIIK and confirming their credentials, users get access to data about their horses that have already been entered into the information system. These are: pedigrees of horses, bonification, breeding activities, trials and more.
At the moment the following are connected: the input of the bonifitation, the mating-foaling list. The work of the back office is organized both for the system administrator and for the breeders. They are involved in checking incoming data and further processing. The horse owner's personal account is integrated into the previously operating IPS Kony-3 Web resource.
Automation of horse breeding in Bashkortostan
May 3, 2024 The third stage of automation of horse breeding and equestrian sports in the Republic of Bashkortostan has started. As part of this stage, the evolutionary development of the “Horse Breeder's Assistant” family of software products is carried out, both locally in farms and on the web portal located in the Akbuzat competence center of the Republic of Bashkortostan for horse breeding and equestrian sports.
The development of the information system took place in several stages. At the first stage, a new version of the “Assistant to the horse Breeder” program was developed, taking into account the new requirements in the field of horse breeding in general and directly the legislation of the republic. Its installation and implementation in farms has been carried out
At the second stage, data collection was organized and transferred to a central server located in Ufa city. A portal has been developed to manage data and extract breeding certificates of horses. Data analysis and control mechanisms have been created to collect information and verify its reliability
At the third stage, users are supported, information flows are provided, the results are cheched, cosmetic adjustments are made, the versions of the components used are maintained and the accumulation of historical data is monitored.
New version of MiniWeb2 constructor
April 1, 2024 A new version 2.4 of our MiniWeb2 software product for creating web portals has been released. This software allows to create web-based systems for enterprises in a short time relying on ready-made basic modules and active use of databases
In the new version, the PDF documentation generation block has been expanded. Now you can quickly get a complete description of the project database in the form of a book. Tables, views, stored procedures and functions with their descriptions are displayed optionally. The documentation for settings and metadata has also undergone a number of improvements. This includes: the main menu, panels, users, roles, and distribution of access rights. A documentation cover is formed with an original illustration for each project.
An audit of the MiniWeb2 platform was organized. These are user connections, administrator logins, and other important events within the system being developed related to the executed project. IP addresses, login times, logins, and role assignments are recorded. A retrospective of these events is available for filtering and further analysis.
The section for users has been expanded. There are such useful things as checking the password, searching the user, viewing the profile of its settings. Improved work with roles (their nesting has been made, the speed of checking privileges has been increased). This is just a short list of additions and improvements to this release.
This year marks 10 years since the first version of MinWeb2 was released. Since then, our company has completed many interesting projects. Among them: Business architect.PRO, BestTest personnel testing service, Information portal of the Research Institute of Horse Breeding, Assessment of the breeding value of animals from the countries of the Eurasian Economic Union.
Migration to Firebird 5.0
February 27, 2024. The webinar ”Practical approach for migration to Firebird 5” was held, where the issues of migrating the popular database from versions 2.5, 3.0, 4.0 into 5.0 were discussed in detail. This workshop included the following items.
A brief overview of Firebird 5. Organizing the mass migration of the database to the new version: steps, recommendations, sequence of actions. Possible complications during the migration and ways to resolve problems.

Integration of Bizarc.PRO and ODANT
January 18, 2024 The integration work has been completed between Bizarc.PRO - the enterprise management modeling service and the ODANT - technology platform. This integration provides the possibility of automatic transfer of business processes created in Bizarc.PRO directly into the ODANT database for further usage.
ODANT is a product which has been created by a team of developers from Ryazan city since 1997. During this time, the product has gone from a simple MS Access 97 database to the ODANT technology platform built on the unique principles which are differ from the foundation from traditional solutions.
Both ODANT and Bizarc systems are aimed at improving the efficiency of an enterprise. ODANT has a great potential in unifying the daily needs of companies. it takes uniformly into account many specific features of going concrete business, tidies it up and puts it on stream.
Bizark also works for long-term prospects. It allows to model business processes and evaluate long-term decisions. Bizark's strength is its academic approach, which is tested in thousands of enterprises. But it requires special training of an architect who forms the skeleton of the enterprise from organizational structure to internal processes.

August 22 2023 The MiniWeb2 web portal constructor is officially included in the Unified Register of Russian programs for electronic computers and databases. This software product has proven itself in the implementation of important information projects, including for research institutes, universities and the Eurasian Economic Union (EAEU).
The MiniWeb2 software consists of a set of functions and objects that allow effectively develop applications which work in the web environment. In addition to a set of ready-made blocks there is an interface for configuring of the future application and its nodes.
The development of the MiniWeb2 constructor was started by our company in January 2016 and continues today. A special site miniweb2.ru was created for it where you can learn more about the capabilities of the system.
