14 March 2013 Silentium Company took part at 11-th International Exhibition Dairy & Meat Industry, which took place last week in ALL-RUSSIAN EXHEBITIOM CENTER in Moscow. In frame of the exhibition there was a conference “Pig breeding selections improvements” organized by FGBMU “All Russian Scientific Research Institute of Breading Business”. The lead companies of this field also took part at the conference. They are National Union of pig industry, the information systems developers. Our specialist prepared a special report how to create a sole federal database in the field of pig breeding.
A new version of ETNI software has been released

A new version of the flagman software ETNI has been released. This product is toolkit for business application development at enterprises and organizations.The second version work was started at early beginning 2011 and it took two years of uninterrupted programming. Before that the previous ETNI version was put into operation at user’s computers for 7 years.
During this program creation it’s architecture was improved, and many constructive advises was taken into our consideration. Many speed and interface ergonomic optimizations were made. The functions set was enlarged and derivable solutions became much more universal.For the last 2 years 64 releases was prepared. They constantly were getting field trials, were tested by our developers and many end users. More details read in file “History of releases”
The new ETNI2 version gives more comfortable tool for application developers. There is a fewer cases to switch between modules. Many management functions are doubled now exactly in the platform. Shadow spy system is considerably extended. Command line call mechanism was added and many more else. You can read more at developer’s guide and on ETNI2 site page. Special seminar at Bashkiria
In November-December 2012 at Bashkortostan Republic by joint forces of Silentium Company, FSIK Favorite Fond and Bashkiria Scientific Research Agriculture Institute RAAS were made a whole series of activities. A new Internet-server was installed in Ufa city, software product “Horse-breeder Assistant” was launched at 20 organizations in the republic, the user’s study was provided, a lot of product improvement was fulfilled and the workplaces were connected to the sole region system which provided horse-breading farms data consolidation.
Form 3 to 8 December a special seminar in Uchali city was held. by City Administration support on the base of Agriculture Collage N98. The lectures were delivered which involved all key aspects of horse breading informatization. Before audience where displayed all the main ways how to lead bread accounting with a computer, were made many practical exercises.

Microchip scanner integration

"Chipping" have been finished. It concerns to a chip scanner which can identify a microchip implanted to animals. In frame of the integration we developed a special module which provide not only to get a data stream but to manage a scanner by automatic tuning of desired parameters set. Accordingly to this set a filed data gathering and later (after computer connection) parameters values are delivering into proper database tables.
The new module is made as loadable dynamic library (DLL) and has got a universal use. The new module is compatibility with our software ETNI Platform and has got it's own internal editor for a task tuning in what an application developed for.
Based on programmed libraries in a new version of "Horse-breeder Assistant" a new catalog was added for working with a scanner. The new block allows not only get a parameters stream but to recognize a horse by nickname and to make store the data of: input date, horse height, horse length, chest around, wrist around, weight. As for a microchip number it must be input in database before at a stage of implantation.

ETNI Fly product released
4 July 2012 Silentium Company released a free software product for simple applications design related to databases, data input, reporting, analyses processing, charts building. The possibilities of the new program are quite wide. Its main feature is ability to create a new systems rather quickly.
Before these days older versions of this product were used as a part of Internet projects fulfilled by our company and our partners. The industrial exploitation started in early 2009 for data analyses in billing web system. Since this small software constantly has been increasing it’s functions. The new abilities were adding for etni-files tuning. Later we create a virtual table’s creation mechanism and tools to interact with web-services for data uploading into a web portal. This version can process pascal and SQL scripts and to work from command line and many more else.

Information analytical system in pig-breeding
14 June 2012 In compliance with sole federal accounting system for breed animals in the field of pig-breeding in June 2012 a new software complex was implemented in Udmurtia Republic. The system unions all leads region breed farms and provided not only effective data gathering from many working accounting workplace but allowed to process its further analytical processing as exactly on a site though Internet as by special software ETNI Fly.
For analyses activity was used combined approach when records filtering made on a central server and after replay stream can be processed effectively in Windows desktop applications involving reporting, charts and OLAP cubes. Most convenience is that all streams are saving into special ETNI-files which adapted for work even after disconnecting from the global network. They are able to be carried with a notebook, a flash device or simply on a compact disk
In this project many skilled developers took part not only from Silentium Company but from FGNU VNIIPLEM , “Selicom” Ltd. worked as a task consultant and a vendor of software products “FIAS” and “ASS”. Beside the project participants have formed and assigned the universal standard for data transferring for the whole Russia in the field of pig-breeding. This standard is opened and allows other software producers easy to connect to our system

20 April 2012 The new regional informational system in the field of horse breeding have been completed. All works was doing for the follow organization: ZAO “krasnoturanskiy”, ZAO “Tubinsk”, “Voshod” Ltd., SHP “Mustang” Ltd., SHP “Ros”. “Mirage’ Ltd., The Animal Breeding Service at Kranoturansk & Idrinskiy regions, The Krasnoyarsk Territory Animal Breeding Service. It was a successful data gathering at the territory central server because of an effecting automatization of horse breeding accounting, testing registration, estimations, horsing, foaling.
Built by our developers the ETL system ( Extract, Transform, Load ) operates in two modes. First of them is to upload data manually by flash-device (or something else) with a courier delivering to Krasnoyarsk city. The second alternative mode has provided an automatic data transferring by web technology directly into the server by sending information without any human efforts for receiving and data allocation.
An analytical processing for delivered data has organized on the central server both for a separate farm and for summary reports for the whole Kranoyarsk Territory. The new consolidation system is realized on base of the new product ETNI Fly. It’s official release planed to June 2012.
